How to Participate
To participate in our weekly competitions, please email the following material to contest@exposing-art.com.
- a video telling us who you are and what style of art do you do, (1 minute max).
- a video telling us what originally got you into art (2 minutes max)
- a video telling us what your art represents (2 minutes max)
- a video where you share something that you would like the audience to know. (2 minutes max)
- 3-7 of your best art pieces.
- Links to your art shop, social media pages and portfolio
Please send us 4 separate videos for parts 1-4. By sending us this material you agree to give us freedom to represent you the best we can. Changes will not be made after we post the videos.
We will choose 5 artists a week for each competition. If you sent us this packet and you haven’t been chosen yet, please be patient (there is no need to resubmit the materials).
How the competition works
On Monday at 8 PM (Pacific Time), we will pick five artists for the competition and will post profiles of them on our website. By the following Monday at 12 am (Pacific Time), the artist with the most total page views, likes, and shares will be the winner of the weekly competition. We will update our Twitter and Facebook page daily with the number of views each artist has received thus far.
Weekly Prize
The winner’s video will be used in a Facebook ad campaign worth $100 USD, which will allow you to be exposed to at least several thousand viewers.
Rules:
- Please be mindful of your language, we will not accept application packages if they have a high amount of profanity.
- Please do not submit inappropriate art work – our audience is family oriented.
- Please do make sure that you answer everything in English, our audience is primarily English speaking.
- Please send in the videos as 4 separate parts and keep them brief.
